Montana Studio

I have the very good fortune of being able to spend most summers painting in Montana. These works are inspired by time spent surrounded by natural beauty. I am not a traditional landscape painter, but it is impossible to deny the power of such a majestic landscape and the many issues it raises - scale, time, light, nature, human frailty. Here are some of the ways I am enjoying exploring these concepts and working to discover the best expression of my voice in describing this magnificent place.
